Description : Research project to create a digital protocol for prenatal care based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) so that consultations and interventions are accessible in vulnerable regions and populations.

This proposal consists of a pilot project to implement the WHO digital antenatal care module, through the incorporation of this tool in the prenatal care of women in situations of social vulnerability, especially adolescents and low-income women of the Baixada unified health system. Santos in the state of São Paulo. The implementation of the project will be carried out in 4 basic health units, a specialized clinic and an itinerant unit called “street clinic” in this region over a period of 18 months. The objective of this project is to improve indicators related to maternal and child health, especially in these more vulnerable populations, improving the prenatal care that these women receive due to the better adherence of the health team to the current WHO recommendations for prenatal care. Secondary objectives include greater efficiency in the provision of health services and necessary interventions in prenatal care, better patient interaction with the health team, optimization of resource use and patient adherence to prenatal care.
