Luis Bahamondes
CEO of CEMICAMP. Emeritus professor at the State University of Campinas since 2023. Full professor since 2003 in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of Campinas. He graduated in Medicine from the National University of Córdoba (1971) and holds a PhD from the State University of Campinas (1982). She has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Maternal and Child Health, working mainly on the following topics: contraception, especially with regard to long-acting methods (intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants), ease of insertion and pain when inserting intrauterine contraceptives, treatment of women with heavy menstrual bleeding, unplanned pregnancy, bone mineral density, body composition and the use of contraceptives to control pain in women with endometriosis. Aníbal Faúndes
Senior Researcher CEMICAMP. Gynecologist and obstetrician. Full Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology FCM-UNICAMP (retired). Collaborating Professor and Researcher Emeritus UNICAMP. She works in the area of violence against women and maternal mortality. He graduated in Medicine from the Universidad de Chile (1955). Due to his highly qualified scientific output, he was exempted from doing his Master’s and Doctorate and was accepted, by competitive examination, as Full Professor of Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNICAMP in August 1987. He has supervised more than 50 doctoral and master’s students and has published more than 440 papers in scientific journals. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Senior Researcher at the Reproductive Health Research Center of Campinas (CEMICAMP) and Coordinator of the Working Group on the Prevention of Unsafe Abortion of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). He has experience in Medicine, with an emphasis on Human Reproduction, working mainly on the following topics: women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, legal abortion, sexual violence. Senior Researcher CEMICAMP. Gynecologist and obstetrician. Associate Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology FCM-UNICAMP (retired). He has a degree in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (1989), a master’s degree in Medicine from the State University of Campinas (1994), a doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the State University of Campinas (1996) and a full professorship from the State University of Campinas in 2008. Associate Researcher CEMICAMP. She graduated in Psychology from the Universidad Catolica de Córdoba (1971), specialized in Clinical Psychology at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (1989) in Argentina, a Master’s degree in Mental Health (1996) and a PhD in Mental Health from the State University of Campinas (2001). From 1977 to 2014 she was a researcher at the Center for Reproductive Health Research in Campinas. Maria Laura Costa do Nascimento
She has a degree (2003) and a Medical Residency (2006) from the State University of Campinas, with a Master’s (2008) and PhD (2011) in Obstetrics and Gynecology, also from Unicamp. She has been an Associate Professor in Obstetrics at the same University since 2019. She did a post-doctorate abroad at Washington University (2014-2016), in Saint Louis (Missouri-USA). After his return, he established a Biobank of Placentas at CAISM-Unicamp and has been working to generate advances in translational research involving maternal morbidity, preeclampsia and emerging viruses. She is the scientific director of the Brazilian Network of Studies in Hypertension in Pregnancy (REHG), a member of CNE-Febrasgo in Hypertension in Pregnancy, the Brazilian representative to the International Society of Hypertension in Pregnancy (ISSHP) and coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at FCM-Unicamp. Arlete S. Fernandes
Professora Associada III do Departamento de Tocoginecologia da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), com atuação nas Áreas de Anticoncepção e Violência contra a mulher. Rodolfo Pacagnella
Professor at the Department of Tocogynecology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, UNICAMP.
